Temples, sacred sites and higher power ππΊππ»
One of the reasons I wanted to come to Bali was to experience, and for my children to experience, a country whose people live by faith. I wanted to feel that Godly energy woven into daily life.
Even though God is with me in every moment, itβs been so special to flow through my days here, visiting temples, sacred sites, and passing thousands of offerings laid out in devotion.
Yesterday we visited the beautiful region of Bedugul, home to the iconic Pura Ulun Danu Bratan temple. People from all walks of life gather there in honour of a higher power. Just writing this gives me goosebumps.
Thank you, Bali, for showing me what it feels like to be surrounded by faith in the most high π₯²
π Scripture
βThe earth is the Lordβs, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.β
β Psalm 24:1 (KJV)
What this means to Anna π
As I stood in Baliβs sacred places, surrounded by offerings and prayer, this verse echoed in my heart, a reminder that all of it belongs to God. Every flower placed in devotion, every breath of incense rising, every human heart seeking connection, all are part of creation.
What touched me most was witnessing how naturally people here live that truth, honouring God not through doctrine, but through rhythm, beauty, and reverence woven into everyday life.
